Phillip Hughes
Phillip Joel Hughes (30 November 1988 – 27 November 2014) was an Australian cricketer who played for South Australia and Australia. He primarily played as a left-handed opening batsman.
Early Life and Career: Hughes started his cricketing journey representing New South Wales at a young age. He quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing his talent and potential as a promising batsman. He played for New South Wales before moving to South Australia.
International Career: He made his Test debut for Australia in 2009 against South Africa. He became the youngest cricketer to score two centuries in a Test match for Australia. Despite some periods of success, his international career was inconsistent, and he was often in and out of the team.
